CAN 2021: CAF Unveils Its Plan B
The confederation of African football, CAF has amidst all expectations unveiled its plan B for the hosting of the 2021 edition of the Africa Cup of Nation slated for January 2022. This was in the nation’s capital Yaoundé in the presence of press men and women.
Cameroon has been reassured of its hosting rights of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations. Speaking in Yaoundé, last July 10 2021, Patrice Motsepe, President of the confederation of African Football avowed: “I have 3 plan B, the 1st been that the next AFCON will be hosted in Cameroon, the 2nd is that AFCON will take place in January in Cameroon and the 3rd is that there is ground work being carried out in a bid to ensure a successful organization of AFCON in Cameroon”.
Indeed, the air has been cleared off all the rumors of an unready Cameroon to host the Africa cup of nation come January. With an ultramodern and state of the arts infrastructure, Cameroon in all her beauty and splendor is more than ready to host the greatest football frenzy in Africa.
