What are the causes and consequences of psychologicaltraumawithin adolescents?

Psycho-trauma is the set of manifestations in thoughts, emotions and behavior, generated by an emotional overload in connection with an event which breaks the balance of the subject.

The causes can be a road accident, rape, sexual abuse, harassment…

How does one get to the level of being traumatized?

When the aggressive event goes beyond personal defenses, and the brain fails to digest the event, a scar remains called psychological trauma.

How does one deal with harassment?

Start by telling the person that you don’t like the behavior and asking them to stop. If the harassment doesn't let up, take measures such as involving the police and increasing your security. In some circumstances, you might need to file for a restraining order to keep your harasser away.
