100% Jeune Imparting the Reglo Attitude in the Youths

100%Jeune, under the auspices of st Salome health center in Akonolinga, has completed educative talks in schools in around that area. This was carried out on the 6th and 7th of February in 4 schools, amongs which, Lycee classique, Lycee mixte, Lycee billingue, and Institute Eugène Jamot d’Akonolinga.

In a day, the 100%Jeune team sensitized a total of 2 schools, with a total of two hours allocated for each school; the morning period ran from 10am-12pm and the afternoon which ran immediately after break from 2pm to 4pm.  However, the agenda of the day was indeed very rich with talking points ranging from drugs and alcohol, sexual and reproductive health as well as the wrongful use of the social media.

The team from 100% jeune conducted the talks simultaneously in English and French, in an interactive manner with the students. Talking, asking and answering question where ever need was called up.

Furthermore, in other to ensure that the students better understood as well as assimilate the message, the team allocated time for entertainment at intervals during their talk. An approach which was highly appreciated by the students who seized the opportunity to show exceptional dancing steps with rhythms from the local artist, hence “le mbole” was the other of the day’s entertainment.

Quasi satisfied with the turnout of events, as well as the commitment of the students to get the message been passed on by the 100% jeune team, gifts comprising of 100%Jeune magazine, pens, pencils and T-shirts where given to outstanding students during the two hours exchange. While gifts of images boxes, 100%Jeune magazine, bags, and pencils and pen where handed over to the school through their principals. A total of 232 young people were sensitized during these educational talks
